Monthly Bird Walks
The Alta Lake Bird Walks are held on the 1st Saturday of every month. Please note: Our current start time is at 8 AM.
The Green Lake Bird Walks on the 3rd Saturday of every month will restart in April.​

Fungus Among Us
Last year's Fungus Among Us Mushroom Festival took place October 18 - 19, 2024.
Thank you to all the scientists, volunteers, and participants who made this year's event a huge success!​

BioBlitz
Last year's BioBlitz took place June 6 - 8 and July 29 - 31, 2024.
​
In June, BioBlitz presenters visited the local schools and gave a public talk on Thursday evening. In July, the public talk was held on Tuesday, July 30.

Join the new Whistler NatureKids Club!​
We are partnering with NatureKids BC to connect kids and their families with nature. Programs are tailored to families with kids ages 5 – 12. It's FREE to join!​ Attend outdoor activities called Explorer Days, receive a subscription to NatureWILD magazine, and much more.
